Anyone that knows me well, knows that I am completely obsessed with macarons. From the very first moment I had my hands on these little delicate french macarons, I knew I found true love. For years, I made it my mission to try the best tasting macarons in any country I happen to be traveling through- My favourite happen to be Laduree and Pierre Herme of course. Lets just say I had my fair share of these little guys for breakfast, lunch and dinner one too many times. The next obvious step is to master the art of making macarons. I attempted to make it numerous times and all times it failed horribly, it was either too hard, too ugly or too burnt. I almost gave up on making them altogether, up until two weeks ago when I found out AG Macarons was offering classes for beginners. I wanted to give it one last try and surprisingly it turned out really great. The shape, texture and taste was perfect. If anyone is looking to learn or just to have some girlfriend bounding time it’s a great opportunity to do just that. I’m so glad I took this class and I definitely will be baking hundreds of these soon.
Martha Stewart does it best so here’s a link to one of her recipes http://www.marthastewart.com/1054104/french-macarons-basic-recipe
Classes are small and intimate (10 people max) which allows Anet and Mike to really walk you through it step by step, giving a lot of helpful tips.
We each took home approximately 25-30 perfect little macarons and they tasted just as delicious as it looked. I highly recommend this class for anyone that love macarons as much as I do or just looking to have a little fun.
Happy Valentine's Day

To all the lover and friends. Today is significant whether you're in a relationship or single. For all the singles, believe me a good man is worth the wait. Today, celebrate the past failed relationships for they set you up for the future successful ones.
For the couples, although everyday is a chance to show your special person how much you love and adore them, today is a chance to show the entire world! I am lucky enough to have the sweetest boyfriend, he set the bar pretty high this year. He prepared dinner, he cleaned, he had it all taken care of (he didnt burned down our place, total bonus). Pretty flowers, macarons and nice gifts don't hurt either.
Be in love with love. Be with someone who brings out the best in you. Your partner should be a reflection of you. They should compliment all aspects of your life. Commitment, compromise and having mutual respect for one another are the perfect ingredients for a successful relationship. Don't forget laughter, lots and lots of laughter. Either big or small, make everyday a sweet celebration everyone!
